News: Consultation for young people on the independent advocacy service

Independent Advocacy is all about helping children and young people to express themselves and make and influence decisions affecting them. Children and Young People’s statutory entitlement to advocacy is determined by their circumstances, namely their care status, physical and mental health need, special educational needs and disabilities, or their position in the youth justice system. Views are being sought from children, young people and others who have referred into the service or who may need to refer into the service in the future.

The deadline for comments is 5.00pm on Tuesday 24th March 2020.

Monday 9th March at Chester le Street Hub

Monday 23rd March at Bishop Auckland Hub – cancelled

Thursday 26th March at Peterlee Hub – cancelled
