News: New MCT / SENDIASS jointly ran parent carer coffee mornings coming soon!

Making changes together Durham and Durham SENDIASS are working together to bring you localised coffee mornings where you pop in for a cuppa, have some cake and chat.

A SENDIASS officer and a member of MCT will be there to :-

• Ask questions about anything- e.g. Education queries ( EHCPs, SEND support, school placements) , Health questions, information on grants etc.
• Get face to face information on what’s available locally for your child and family.
• Get support
• or just come for general chit-chat with people in the same or similar situations.

Our first coffee morning is at Lee house, Easington village on Thursday 6th February. 10am-12pm. See our event page for more details.

We hope to put on 4 coffee mornings each term in a range of areas including Stanley, Durham, Newton Aycliffe and Trimdon but locations are still being arranged and finalised. Please come back to our website or check out our Facebook page for dates coming soon.
