We received an unexpected yet wonderful email last week – We have been nominated for Little SENDsations “Bridging the Gap” award.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We are honoured to be nominated and humbled that someone took the time to think of us. Thank you, Little SENDsations.

As Durham’s official parent carer forum, we are committed to making positive changes for young people with SEND and their families across County Durham. We collaborate with the Local Authority, Health, social care, and other organisations locally, regionally, and nationally to influence service provision and to raise awareness of the issues and needs faced by families.

We recognise that progress can sometimes feel slow and that change does not happen overnight. However, we assure you that progress is being made. We are aware of the challenges, understand the issues, and remain determined to ensure our voices are heard!
