MCT is pleased to announce we are working with  Durham County Carers Support, Darlington parent carer forum , CAMHS , Family Hubs, Waves support group & SENDIASS to bring some amazing joint training for parents and Carers.  We call this working group ” Team Training”.

BEAT EATING DISORDERS

ARFID – CYP Eating Disorders Training for Parents/Carers (Endeavour)
 
8 sessions that take place at the same time and day each week, for 8 weeks.
 
Each session is 90 minutes and there is pre reading to accompany each week’s Zoom call.
 
It is for parents and carers of children and young people aged 5-15, with an ARFID (Avoidance/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) diagnosis and/or displaying ARFID behaviours and presentations.
 
You’ll find out more about ARFID, and improve your understanding of it, in a safe space with others in similar situations.
 
Endeavour is delivered by clinicians who work directly with people with eating disorders.
 
Parents and carers can self-refer into this workshop by creating an account on POD HERE.
