News: Local Area Ofsted and CQC SEND inspection.

Earlier this week we were informed of Durhams impending Ofsted local area inspection.

Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are visiting to inspect the local arrangements for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Inspectors want to know about the help and support that children and young people with SEND get. You can tell them by filling in a survey. What you tell them will be treated in confidence.

There are three separate surveys for:

• Children and young people with SEND.

• Parents and carers of a child or young person with SEND.

• Practitioners working with children or young people with SEND in education, health or care services.
