News: Update on local area ( Local Authority & NHS services) re-inspection by Ofsted and CQC ( Care quality commission).

Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will carry out a re-visit of the area following the previous inspection that took place between 27 November 2017 and 1 December 2017. The re-visit will evaluate how effectively leaders have addressed the areas of serious weaknesses detailed in the written statement of action (WSOA).

During the re-visit, Ofsted and CQC inspectors will be keen to speak to as many children and young people and their parents and carers as possible, specifically about the weaknesses identified in the WSOA.

In partnership with the local authority, NHS and Inspectors we will be holding 3 parent carer events where you will be able to come to have your say and give feedback to inspectors on experiences within Durham. e.g. Education, EHCPs, therapy services, CAMHS within the last 2 years.
