WE WANT TO REASSURE PARENTS AND CARERS ON HOW DURHAM PCF WORKS.

As a parent carer forum, MCT Durham PCFs’ primary objective is to promote co-production between parents, carers, and professionals to positively impact the lives of children, young people, and families.

We are committed to open dialogue and collaboration, encouraging constructive engagement and questioning of ideas to achieve meaningful outcomes.

While we, as a forum, do not participate in petitions, protests or demonstrations, we actively share information with parents and carers to support informed decision-making on topics that may be of interest to them.

Maintaining a positive relationship with our local authority, health, and social care partners does not diminish our ability to voice concerns, provide necessary feedback or challenge where needed. We are committed to ensuring everyone’s perspectives are heard and actively advocate for families interests, without simply agreeing or being dismissed.

Our forum members are very passionate and dedicated, and their voices will always be heard and acknowledged.
